The base of Raw Edges’ Cosmic Table is both deceptively simple and remarkably ingenious: an organic infinty shape – originally designed using just three pieces of interlocking paper – that resembles an endless ribbon. For the table’s outdoor version, this innovative carbon-fibre construction is treated with one of two hardwearing, striking finishes: an enamelled style or a “weathered” coating. The graceful top also comes in two versions: either elegantly thin glass with a bevelled edge or handcrafted heavyweight glass that resembles a circle of ice and casts delicately rippling water-like reflections and shadows. The outdoor Cosmic Table comes with a premium cover to protect it when not in use.
